📊 Enterprise Sourcing: The RFP Lifecycle Explained
Request For Proposals (RFPs) are often understood from the provider’s side — how to respond, price, submit, and win. But the journey starts much earlier, inside the enterprise, where a business need becomes a sourcing decision.
Early in my career, I struggled to connect these dots. Most available content explained isolated steps, but rarely showed the full lifecycle from business problem to proposal. This series simplifies that journey in a structured and practical way, covering both the customer’s sourcing process and the provider’s response approach.
The goal is to explain not just what happens in an RFP, but why it happens, who is involved, and how decisions are made.
